Sunburned but for a good reason.
Today I got sunburned. But it was because of a good reason. You know why? Because I shot the music video for my song Hot Outside. Yeah! We went to the beach to shoot it with my best friend and camera man, Nick, and we had fun. It's great to shoot videos with company because when I do it alone it's hella boring.

Summer is here but not for everyone.
I've got a good summer. Not a great one but I'm grateful. I mean, there are a lot of things that I do and I don't go to the beach every day like some people do. But there are many people who don't even have the comfort to go to the beach once a week or once in 2 weeks. That's sad.
I meet a lot of my classmates in the streets every day and they are so exhausted. They do lessons because this upcoming school year is the most important of our school life. It's the year that our knowledge and our marks are going to define if we are able to study at a university or not. People are pushing themselves so hard and parents do that too. But that's bad.
I don't like this. This is not education. We are forced to learn by heart so many books that are totally unimportant in our lives. I mean, sorry but I'm not going to ever speak Ancient Greek in my life or use those math or science problems that they teach me to solve and I'm surely not going to count how much oxygen there is in my room with what I learn in Chemistry. I just don't care.
I'm someone who has found what he loves and I'm sure there are so many teenagers in my age that know what they love but they're forced to study under this pointless pressure.
Of course, all of that knowledge that is given to us for free is great and I agree that it broadens our horizons but when our whole life is defined by those subjects in which if we are not good at, we're going to have no job, then something is wrong.
The Educational System must teach children, teenagers, everyone to use their minds and think instead of learn by heart tons of books. They need to teach people how to be creative and there must be subjects, except the classic ones, that would teach us things about life such as: how to love ourselves, how to be strong, how to believe in our powers. Instead there's so much education about other things and the most major problem in our teenage society is loving ourselves (and that was just an example).
I hope things change someday. I wish for the best!

1. Well ancient greek normally will help you improve your greek in grammar and spelling. I know how you feel because i hate them but believe it or not they are helpful. Yet, the greek educational system sucks and won't let the students improve their language
