Back again | Day 21
Wow! It's been a long time since I last posted on this blog! Well, hello! If you don't remember who I am, my name is Leander Dreamer and I am here to talk to you about some of the things that happened in my life for the next 10 minutes! Are you ready? Let me start!
So, this period of my life has really changed me. I think positive and only positive. I read a book called "The Power" and now I am in the end of another book which is called "Magic". Both are written by an amazing author "Rhonda Byrne". These two books have really changed my life and the way I think. Everything goes well and my life is happy and bright! I always try to think positive but those two books really helped me put gratitude into my life. I wanted to share it with you because it's something so important for me and I am sure that if you read these books some day, you will feel blessed too! *Happiness, happiness, happiness and.... needless to say: POSITIVITY!
Something really important that I want to share with you is that I changed school. I went to another school. To be more specific, it is a night school. You may have never heard of it or even thought of it as a place where bad people go but nowadays, this place is awesome.
Firstly, there are no bad people. A few years ago, the rumors of the night school weren't that good. But now, everything is perfect.
I would like to begin by telling you that the teachers are respectful! They try to teach you some stuff instead of doing just their jobs. That's really important in our fast paced days! In the morning school (at least, where I was enrolled), most of the teachers were nervous about the lessons and they just wanted to finish all of the chapters and units, something that was a little bit difficult due to the lack of time that they had. So, they were teaching us very fast and as a result we couldn't understand a lot of things. In the night school, they try as hard as possible for us to learn things. They even use interactive whiteboards so that we can understand more things! And even if we are not consistent sometimes due to the work (that we do in the mornings), they are forgiving and show comprehension.
Another thing that has to be considered is the fact that, each student is different. There are students who are over 18 years old and the oldest student in the school is 81 years old! Yes, 81 years old. That's impressive. So, we all understand that each one of those students, go to school not because they are forced to but because they want to. Either they want to learn some knowledge or they want to study at a university so that they can work. They don't actually behave bad to you (like some teenagers do) because they are older people who study for a certain reason. They won't judge you if you wear an ugly clothe, they won't gossip and try to spread rumours about you. Instead, they are kind, humorous and most of them (maybe, all of them) are mature! Thirdly, the night school starts are 7 pm and ends at 10:40 pm. So, the whole day until that time is free for me. I can do anything I want. I do karate, piano lessons, voice lessons, music theory lessons, gym and my hobbies of course! Another fact that has to be taken into consideration is that the subjects are easier and the classes are easier to pass and it's easier to study at the university that you want if you go to a night school.
So, these were some reasons why I went to a night school and let me tell you, that I never regreted it.
Music Stuff:
You know I love music, right? I would never forget the music part in my blog entry.
Sia is releasing her new album (I don't know the date) and she uploaded on YouTube an amazing song of hers, called "Alive". It's just really good. I've heard it so many times. Sia is an incredible artist in my opinion. Plus, I like that she hides her face because firstly, she needs her privacy and secondly, no one has ever hided his face before so it's innovative.
Also, in some days I am going to be singing at a karate demonstration that will take place in Heraklion. So, if you are in Crete, take the time to come and see some Karate stuff and me singing a legendary song of Scorpions! I'll be glad to see you there!
So, that's all for today. This blog entry might be a little bit long but I won't be posting each and every day here like I used to, so the posts from now on, are going to be long.
Love you all, bye! :)
