Pretty Little Liars ENDGAME | Day 74
**SPOILER ALERT**
Okay, Pretty Little Liars just ended and I don't know how to feel. Firstly, I feel sad because that was it! It ended. And I was feeling so much empathy for the characters and the protagonists that they even made it to my phone wallpaper. You see now? haha
I LOVED the show and I appreciate it so much. I'm so happy to have viewed this TV show. It was epic and GENIUS. Let's talk about my experience.
One thing that I'll regret is that I was very curious to know more about the characters. I never wanted to know the end of the seasons or anything that had to do with the plot and the scenario. All I wanted to do was to come closer to the actresses' reality, be a fan of them and just follow them on their journey. But that curiosity of mine lead to me not enjoying the BIG REVEALS because guess what. Internet is freaking full of SPOILERS. Like, please, have mercy on me. Don't ruin it all! Don't you ruin it all for me. It's so unfair.
I already knew who A was before the big reveal. There were so many videos on YouTube that SPOILED THAT on their title! Like, what the hell people? Why do I even have to know what's going to happen if I don't want to? I didn't have to click the video to find out who A was. IT WAS IN THE FREAKING TITLE.
And I may had some suspicions but it's different to just have some suspicions and it's different to know that your suspicions are TRUE. It literally ruins everything.
I knew Cece was A or I just knew she was a part of the A team because there were many scenes where we could see that: 1) when she was wearing the red coat and she fought with Aria in that factory (i think it was a factory or a warehouse). And when the girls turned their backs on her leaning body, she just disappeared. 2) Also, when she was listening to Ezrias conversation secretly out of Ezras house. These two were some very eye-opening facts about Cece being on the A team.
And when Aria killed Shana, they should have remembered at least the first fact that I mentioned so the whole A prank wasn't over yet!
The show's 6 seasons had already been aired the past 6 years on the TV so I could watch them whenever I wanted to. But the 7b season was not out for some time. When 7b season came out and I watched the first episodes of it, I was like "Now, there won't be any spoilers because I know what EVERYBODY knows. I've seen what EVERYBODY has seen. So, there is no way there will be any more spoilers. I can search about Pretty Little Liars as much as I want to without being afraid to find out about something that is going to later happen". And so I did.
I watched a couple of Fan Theories Videos and oh my god, I hated all of them. That was the time that I first heard of the Spencer Twin Theory. I swear, I never had heard of that, never had thought of it. When I saw that video which was explaining every detail about that theory and all of those clues and hints that we've missed, one side of my brain was like "it's just another theory, it won't come true" and the other part of my brain was like "this is a very well thought theory and screw everything, I need to erase it from my mind and NEVER think of it again because it might as well be true". So, I kind of expected it to be true.
I watched the final episode and yes... it was FREAKING true. Thank you, pretty little detectives for ruining THAT! The Cece Reveal was not a big deal. Because I already had my suspicions and I may knew that she was A but it left me SPEECHLESS when I heard her story and why she did everything and who she really was. That was mind-blowing. I didn't expect that, I had no clue about that. So, I watched that episode and I was shocked but happy to not have all of that ground-breaking information spoiled. But the Alex Drake Reveal was something that I COULD NEVER (even in a million years) think of. When I watched those theories, I was shocked that people could have thought of something like that. I had no suspicions, I had seen no clues. IT WAS A DISASTER to know something like that before I actually have the chance to find out all about it on the final episode. So, no matter how shocked I wanted to feel or how much I wasn't expected that theory to be true, Spencer having an evil twin was not news to me. Pffff...
Rather than that, I have to say that Pretty Little Liars was a PRETTY DAMN PHENOMENAL SERIES. There were so many turnovers, so many shocking moments in the show. And I have to say that EVERY last episode of each season was EPIC.
The only thing that I didn't like about the finale of PLL was that there was not so much adventure and action. I mean, there was some but I really needed that turnover to happen and some more action. Some unexpected action. You know, that kind of action that we're used to for this show. For example, when the squad figures out who is the real Spencer between the two, I was expecting some more drama, more adventure at that moment. Some breathtaking action to take place so it wouldn't be that cliche, you know what I'm saying. I can't say I'm not satisfied with the ending, But I would love some more action and adventure and more turnovers.
Let's also take a moment to appreciate MONA. That bitchy, hacker, detective, badass Mona who was Smarter than everyone and was always a step ahead of everything, that Mona I'm going to miss a lot. She was killin' it! And she also WON the game. She was never loser Mona. Never.
I liked Jenna sometimes but she always looked so evil to me. The one time I only LOVED her was at the final episode when she said to Adison " I may not see but I can smell a bitch a mile away". Wow.
That's all I have for you guys. I couldn't not share my experience with you. It's a show that I truly loved and I just always couldn't wait to watch.
